LOBBY FLOOR | Reception & Welcome Ceremony
The lobby floor is where people will check-in at the beginning of the event. On this floor, you will be able to get familiar with the Remo Online Networking Platform, ask questions to our staff and watch the Welcome Ceremony at the beginning of the event!
Unless you have a schedule conflict, please do your best to attend the Welcome Ceremony as we will give information on how to best use the Remo Platform and how to make a good first impression when you meet with companies.

Some companies will have their introduction videos available on HirePlanner a few days before the events. Showing you have a general understanding of the company's business goes a long way and will help make a great first impression.
3 | Prepare a Short self introduction (max 60 secs)

The goal is to make a great first impression - not to tell everything about yourself. Your self-introduction should be focused on what the potential employer wants to hear (what they may need); it's not necessary at this stage to mention what you need. Instead, it's best to focus on what you can offer the potential employer.

Please be sure to join early to have enough time to sign in and do a video/sound check. The event kick-off is at 5:30 PM Japan Time.
Please note that virtual backgrounds may not be available during the networking session, so please do your best to have a clean background and nice lighting.

1. HOW DO I APPLY FOR JOB POSTINGS OR SCHEDULE INTERVIEWS?

Apply for jobs through HirePlanner.com. You can do so before, during or after the event.

HR representatives will reach out to you after they review your resume, and schedule interviews with you during or after the event.
2. CAN I JOIN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE EVENT? CAN I COME AND GO DURING THE SESSION?

Yes, you can join the event anytime by using the event access link for the event (which will be shared with you via email just before the event and added onto this page). Since the event is only 3 hours, we strongly recommend you to stay as long as you can to maximize your experience and meet more potential employers.
3. WILL THE EVENT BE CONDUCTED ENTIRELY IN ENGLISH?

Most companies are able to communicate in both English and Japanese but it will depend on the preference of the hiring company.
4. I AM HAVING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES ACCESSING THE PLATFORM.

During the event, there will be a support team available to assist you. Look for people with the Hireplanner badge on each floor. You can either approach staff directly at a table or send a private message.
